What is the Process?

A wide range of different metallic surfaces can be laser engraved in a permanent and intelligible way. Depending on the type of metal to be engraved, different processes are applied.

The Compound Method for Engraving of Bare Surface Metals

The C02 laser can not mark the surfaces of bare metals very well, which is why the compound marking method is used in such instances. The metal surface is sprayed with a chemical compound that gets fixed to it as the laser beam comes into contact with the chemical, leaving durable black marks. Examples are available.
